Course Description:

In these classes, students will become familiar with musical and percussion instruments and learn basic rhythms and music fundamentals through songs, chants, rhythm patterns, and instrumental play-along songs. Through this course, children will (1) develop motor skills such as hand eye coordination, (2) have an easier time learning math (ex. patterns), (3) learn of different cultures, including the Persian culture, (4) become a team player and develop a sense of involvement, (5) practice good manners such as patience and discipline, and (6) learn skills needed for educational and social interaction.

I currently offer the Music for Children Program at the following schools: Borna Cultural House in Walnut Creek, California, Nima Farsi Class in Danville, California, and Avicenna Academy Farsi School in Sacramento, California.
